  JWs in UK appealing for charity donations for beds

  while the watchtower leaders smugly bury their glorious leaders and eulogise about their dedication to jehovah i.e.

  watchtower publishing company , their brothers and sisters of the lower order in the uk are begging for charitable donations through the jah jireh care home home site.. it seems as if some of the millions who will never die are now doing just that and are in need of urgent help because armageddon or cloud cuckoo land as it is known to the sane, refuses to show up.. maybe the past w/t presidents who have reached their sell by dates residing in the heavenly realm can speed things up a little.. if you would like to make a donation go to the jah jireh website and check out the latest news..

  In the Hebrew Scriptures Numbers 21; 8. Moses was told to make a graven image which when stared at would be an antidote to snake bite. Then it seems God became jealous because the people began to worship Moses's pole . So the word went out to forget the previous order , it was then a case of as you were. What I would like to know is this , why was it o.k. to make the image in the first place and secondly why according to the Witlesses is it wrong to make an image of a cross or icons for that matter which are not said to be worshipped when God said image making was alright provided it wasn't worshipped?

  Did Jesus go to Weight Watchers or have a double ?

  i don't mean a double whiskey either.. according to the memorial invitation lealet this year and depictions in recent wathtowers jesus is not the jesus of twelve months or even several months ago.

  is it my imagination or has jesus been to weight watchers ?

  i must say he looks much leaner in the face even gaunt and it can't be the trauma of his arrest because he didn't seem to have weight loss previously when he was tried.. i have a theory that maybe the governing body is getting ready to tells us that jesus had a double and that the reason he showed up after his death was due to the fact that it was his look- alike who was impaled.

  I have a theory that maybe the Governing Body is getting ready to tells us that Jesus had a double and that the reason he showed up after his death was due to the fact that it was his look- alike who was impaled. That would explain the astonishing appearences later on, not to mention the astonishing identity theft that seems to have taken place at Brooklyn's finest truth outlet.

  The Watchtower has confused me on several occasions and if my suppositions are not correct why are the illustraters not consistent ? what the heck is going on here, does anybody know?

  I need to be able to recognise Jesus when I see him and if his spokes persons on earth can't get it right who can ?

  Can You Get DFd for Working for the Department of Defense?

  so, as some of you may be aware, i got a job offer with an agency under the u.s. department of defense.

  the other day i told a member of my family, and they nearly went apeshit.. my question: what reprecussions could this reasonably have?

  does the wts speak of this in any of their publications?

  This is another good example of why the loony society should allow more individual conscience decisions for heavens sake.

  When will the Wacktower realise that sometimes the defence of your country is given priority, individual J. Witnesses need to be given the God given right to think for themselves. There is unlawful killing and lawful killing , the Israelites knew that when they went into battle and how many early christians worked for the Romans in one way or another?

  The same goes for blood transfusions and if that isn't unlawful killing sometimes I don't know what is. Common sense should be the rule everytime.

  If the Watchtower Org. need to live seperate lives from the World let them spend all that lovely loot from property sales on an island somewhere and let all of them go and live there in order not to be tainted by Satan.

  Just as long as they leave us to get on with living while we try to make the World a better place.

  let me explain a little about what i do each day...... i work for a company that arranges trusts in the cook islands, turks & caicos, panama, etc.

  i know that blondie is against what i am about to say, but i do not just believe that the wts have a variety of trusts in various jurisdictions around the world......i am absolutely positive they do.. .

  i personally look after 14 trusts.

  Regardless of the fact that they claim to be no part of the World they must invest surplus money somewhere in the World .

  It would surprise me if they didn't invest Jehovah's money in off shore accounts. They have the mindset which tells them to invest wisely and to obtain maximum return on their capital. They will also have secret emergency funds readily available.

  There doesn't have to be proof of these things, just let them prove differently, otherwise it must be assumed that they follow the normal corporate route.

  They are not accountable to the rank and file enough for my liking. Let them put their cards on the table and their hands where we can all see them. If they can twist doctrine on a regular basis then they can hocus pocus the cash.

  Cliff Richard was never a JW. He looked into the relgion and I even saw him at a Kingdom Hall once but sensibly he rejected their beliefs. He is an Anglican or Cof E if you like. I might add that he is one of the nicest persons you could ever wish to meet.

  Hank Marvin is still a JW and lives in Australia.

  I think the Witnesses object to him because he saw through their religion and gave it the elbow. I have heard JWs say that he preferred fame and fortune, but they would say that wouldn't they.

  What grows out of the top of his head, whatever bodily adornments he prefers or even his ethnicity it doesn't matter to me . It's what flows forth from his mouth that I have issues with and the same thing goes for the rest of the Watchtower leaders.

  This guy and those of his ilk have caused so much distress with their misleading ideas that it's hard to calculate just what the total misery amount actually is.

  During the second World War Adolf Hitler with his moustache, uniform, and his speeches delivered with arm waving, was parodied by cartoonists . Charlie Chaplin made a great film about his type called The Great Dictator. The Watchtower leaders are accountable to none of their members and they should be. With that in mind I think they are fair game.

  Now if Gerrit Losch would like to come on this forum and post a reply and defend his statements instead of reading a speech to the gullible, I'm sure he would find a lively debate taking place.

  Just watched the vid., seen it before and his words are those of a buffoon.

  He said the Society can't tell brothers and sisters whether to go to university or not but he puts the boot in by trashing those who do and he does it in the most subtle and under hand way possible. He his virtually telling young people to sacrifice their life by handing their lives to the Watchtower.

  There are Witnesses still alive who followed that advice fifty fears ago , and there is only one winner it's the multi billion dollar dodgy book publishing business called The Watchtower Society.

  It's not God he wants youth to follow, the message is clear, follow him and his cronies that's what he is after.

  The truth is God wants humans to learn and be as educated as possible in order that humans can help each other to battle through life.

  I rest my case.
